Most new notebook computers only have USB ports and no longer the COM port. But there are a lot of USB-serial adapters available to realise a COM port.
The most used driver for this adapters is a Polific USB driver. We looked for a reliable one and you can find it here zipped for download. First, please look at your PC system information for the driver your adapter is using. If an other than Prolific is installed, please look for a newer version at the WWW download and install it!
Please install and test it.
